“Is it day already? I couldn’t tell…” He replied.
“Well…it’s been twenty four hours if that means anything. Hard to tell when you can’t see the sky…” The man’s voice on the outside replied. “How bad is it in there, anyway?”

Shades of Grey 6The next several days were filled with more scans of the gunner’s damaged brain. Reeve was kept busy trying to find some way to repair some of the damage that Hojo had done. Vincent spent most of the time in his room. Usually members of AVALANCHE would come in to see him, usually with a barrage of questions that he didn’t have the answers for. Currently it was Tifa and Yuffie who were visiting him. But at the moment it was Vincent doing the relentless questioning. “Why, exactly, did I help you fight a giant rock again?”Shades of Grey 6

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The gunner stayed outside most of the night, just enjoying the stars and the slight breeze. It was the warmer part of late spring so it wasn’t uncomfortable to be outside; not having the heat of summer yet and already past the chill of winter. As he sat there on a piece of scaffold-like debris he took the time to think.
He thought about lots of things, letting his thoughts run off on tangents and circles not particularly caring
